What is a prospect?

A prospect is an individual regarded to be a potential customer or a client. The likelihood of becoming a successful customer or a client hinges on multiple factors including demographics, industry of interest, and viable funding.

What tools provided by DeepSales can I use to find accurate prospects?

DeepSales is built on an incredibly large database of professional contact and company information. Users can use the filters found in the "Prospecting" page to narrow down the contact points displayed. The filters you can use are as follows:

  • Company: You can use the company filter to narrow down the list of contacts shown to you.

  • Location: You can use the location filter to view contacts only in that region. You can select multiple countries.

  • Industry: You can use the industry filter to show contacts that are active in the particular industry. If you do not have a specific industry and only know what services you're looking for, you can use our built in AI search that will automatically apply the necessary industry filters.

  • Employees: You may be looking for people who work for an organization that is a certain size. You can use the number of employees filter to narrow down the results by showing only organizations that fit the number of employees range.

  • Revenue: Similar to the employees filter, you may be looking for people who work for an organization that makes a certain amount. You can use the revenue filter to narrow down the results by showing only organizations that fit the revenue range.

  • Founded Year: The founded year filter lets you select a start date and an end date. Applying this filter will display contacts who are members of organizations that were founded in the defined range.

  • Funding: You can use the funding filter to view prospects from organizations that are in the particular funding round. Note that if the company is private and or not listed, the filter may not work.

  • Technologies: You can use the technologies filter to views contacts that work for organizations that use specific technologies.

  • Contact Name: If you know the name of the individual that you want to contact, try using the contact name filter. This filter will display contacts with the provided name, only.

  • Language: If you or your sales team would like to focus on a part of the demographic that speaks a certain language, use the language filter.

  • Contact Detail: You can use the contact detail filter to ensure that the contacts shown have your desired method of communication. You can select multiple values from Email, Cellphone, Landline, and Fax.

  • Email Status: We try our best to validate the emails that we provide. However, some email addresses have a strict security policy that prevents us from ensuring the validity of the email address. For more information, check our Email Status page.

  • Job Title: You may be interested in talking to contacts who have a particular Job title like a CEO. You can use the job title filter to narrow down your search to a specific set of occupations.

  • Department: If you don't have a specific job title in mind, you can use the department filter to narrow down to any one who is in a particular department.

  • Seniority: You can use the seniority filter to narrow down your results by their seniority.

  • Exclude: The exclude filter makes sure that you don't see contacts that you have already confirmed, saved, or shared.
